The Black Hills are found in the far South West, they are mountains covered with pine trees that look black from a far distance. The Black Hills cover an area that i roughly 50 miles wide and 20 miles long. The Badlands is an area of colorful mountains, spikes, canyons, and also a lot of other rock formations. The Badlands were formed over millions years ago when wind, rock, and other natural forces wore away the soft rock.
